As we all know Google toolbar for firefox, shows result count for a word as you start typing. I was searching for some firefox extension which my friend suggested me. As soon as I typed “firef”, in the dropped down it showed me 25,900 results for keyword “firefox”. I was surprised and shocked as well. Only 25900 results for firefox, that’s not possible. Just to confirm I typed “firefox” and hit enter. As I guessed the result was way more than 25,900.
I checked with other search terms as well and result is same. Toolbar shows way less results count then results page. Check out the images...
Dropdown showing the result count for different keywords

Searched for keyword "firefox"

Searched for keyword "firefox download"

Searched for keyword "firefox browser"

If you see the result count in above images, counts shown in toolbar is way less than the actual search result count. I am sure there must be some sensible reason behind it. Or is it a bugg?. Does any one of you know about it?
